So it is the last post with fotos from the Italy adventure. So few you might think? Don’t worry. So far during those two months, we have taken more than 2500 photos. Our lives are well documented. Here’s just a taste.
Firenze have a club of swing dancers. They performed, to the pleasure of all tourists, at Davids feet overlooking the whole of this pearl of a city.
I enjoyed watching the dancers, Alvaro enjoyed examining my teeth.
Then, in Parma, papa is teaching Alvaro the art of foot-flirting. our boy got a way with the ladies !! 😉 And suddenly we have reached Süd-Tyrol, which is actually in Italy. i had no idea, ignorant me. I also read in my bibel of understanding Italian people and culture, that the germanspeaking minority in Italy is the wealthest of the Italian. This was written in the nineties, so it might have changed, but they managed to get a lot of benefits after being treated not so very well under Mussolini. Good for them. The air up in the Tyrol mountains were fresh, the churchbells rang with a moderate protestant sound and the culture landscape beautiful. As culture landscape often are. We enjoyed.
Salzburg, the capital of mozartkugeln. Again, a UNESCO world heritage site – so I guess I dont have to tell you its beautiful? It rains there, but in general looked like a very interesting place!! Gmunden. Grey and rainy, then sunny and hot. Gmunden has it all. Also one of Alex’s friends from university, and therefore a brilliant place to stop. I have postet fotos of the bathing before, so this is just the view. If you happen to go to Gmunden, this is wher you should eat!
And then Basel, with delicious organic starwberries! namnamnam And then Coruna and perfect little Ivan with his proud mother! Cousins! We celebrated Alvaros first birthday with a clara in Baiona! Salud!!
Besos a la abuela!! Los abuelos en Baiona!
